The turnover of the multinational with headquarters in Mountain View, in the State of California (USA), amounted to 24,750 million dollars (22,635 million euros) between the months of January and March, 22% above the figure from the previous year. Without taking into account the impact of the currency exchange, the company's turnover registered a 24% rebound.
Google's advertising revenue increased 19% during the first quarter, to 21,411 million dollars (19,581 million euros), with a 44% increase in the volume of paid clicks, while the cost per click was reduced by 19%. %.
"Our excellent results are a great start to 2017," commented the multinational's financial director, Ruth Porat, adding that the company continues to benefit from its investments in product innovation.
